I have posted some photos I took earlier in the year on the sidebar. These photos give me hope that one day the sun will again shine and we can enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds this city. While I have been known to actually like the odd rain, and absolutely enjoy lying in bed at night and listening as a thunderstorm rips apart the sky outside, this constant rainfall is getting me down. We have driven out to Stanley Park twice and both time been greeted by enough rain to drive us back to the shelter of the car. Perhaps we have been spoiled by our recent experience living in warmer, sunnier climes and need to just get into our rain gear and enjoy the city. Nevertheless I am looking forward to warmer drier weather and hope it arrives sooner rather than later.

I know taking about the weather and complaining about the rain is about as insightful and interesting in a blog as it is in conversation (not at all) but hey everyone needs an ice breaker.
